Have been trying to get comics going and have a few 'projects' 'on the go'

So here is one I'm working on with a friend doing short true stories set in S'TRAYA M8

Mostly Melbourne but a few other places too-

This one is about a drunk night some rough ideas and etc...

This just started out as a sketch of a girl in a bra- used a reference pic from a fashion mag "Oyster"

Then it 'evolved' I messed up the sunrays so coloured over it at the top of the window and then didn't know if it looked like glass anymore...so then I scanned it and put a layer of colour over the black ink and I think it worked alright.

I changed the contrast a bit and liked the effect -makes me think I might be able to make a cool comic if I can stop myself from wasting the days watching youtube and now I have discovered those 'vines' clip things haha I know they are old news but they funny yo

I am thinking about doing some sort of art work about Ned Kelly..

Have been re-inspired by Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis- I've only seen the movie so I want to get the comic!!!

Summmmertime Sadness

So this was a pencil sketch I did of Lana Del Rey- I really forced myself to try to finish a more realistic drawing- I kind of gave up at the end and have tried to make it a "cool image" in photoshop-trying to distract with background colours...

I did a plain one and then added the scribble just coz..haha but I think it works better than the plain:

Beauty School Drop Out

Hello world.
I've decided Art School is 'not for me' and I am now back to where I was 2 years ago working at a shitty job- the same shitty job- and being lazy with life.

My goals, for those who are interested, are:

1.  Do a Screenprinting course
2. Do this 10 day tattooing course in Melbz
3. Go to N.T and try to 'make a difference'
4. Clean my fucking room

So there it is. Set in stone.

I have not been happy with my drawings- maybe cause I have only done 2 this year. Here they are.

Bored Last Night

Was feeling bored last night after sewing for 3hours!! Sewing this fabric thing together and I still don't know what I'll say it is in class on wednesday...

Just total procrastination also sewing sequins onto this thing- its meant to be a head dress of some kind and be some comment on culture- i dont really know- i just like sparkly stuff
