India In Sight!!

It is just over a week before I go to India!

It is exciting!!

Just came back from dinner at the Indian Restaurant- it was very nice we chatted until 10pm! Closing time!

This is a drawing I did to enter a Sharpie/VideoHits competition at the start of the year- it won a prize which was really good- loads of sharpie products etc..

I do like it but I'm not sure it's my style- Don't know about the text "Summer Dreaming" and the pencil work but I do like the idea with the hair all black and forming into the lotus flower (It could be better rendered to make it more effective) I like the little bird he is edgy and a c00l gUy.

Greasy

I feel gross- I finished work at 10.45 and have been sitting around since then- it is now 10 to 12 AM
and I have work in the morning ew I am tired.
I smell like popcorn and grease (Y)

Daylight Savings

Mucks my body clock up- its 10.40pm but i am not tired for sleep even though my body is tired.
My skin feels very dry at the moment- yuck.
I've been adding to a drawing I did ages ago and I like it- but now am scared to add any more in case I wreck it.
Here's an old photo from tafe that I found of my 'monster heart' printed on a t-shirt with monster model modelling it-

This is a life drawing in some special pencils that I can't remember the name of- they're made to go on dark backgrounds... i like it though. Sort of neon glow about it- but not sure about the glasses- they are hard to draw and difficult to make them look natural- i like the check though and the chin.

 This is an oldie from first year (2009) It was the first drawing that I was really proud of- it is from a baby picture of my younger brother wearing an old style English Police hat- the face needs something- a bit more definition, the arms and legs are also a bit off.Background annoys me too- BUT I love the fur of the squirrel though and the tail. Also like the colours in his t-shirt. Pastel colours rule.

Went out to breakfast with mum and Jamie twas nice- we chatted about traveling and horrible events as in suicide then cheered up in the end.
Had a scary nightmare last night and am going to work at 4pm- in 45mins but am not ready/

I have nothing to complain about and it was a very sunny day. 

But I like the crim pic I think the background looks good with it. Also this one, I filled in pink at the top like the Crim pic then accidentally clicked delete and it looks like the Neapolitan icecream colours -I quite like it. If I do say so myself

I am sick with a dry cough at the moment.
I took Mello for a long walk after work today which was nice- it felt like summer outside.
It's been such nice weather, yesterday afternoon I went to the rooftop bar with Liv and others which
was really good, i'm glad I went out instead of watching The Bold and the Beautiful
 like the fool that I am. I had never been there before. Grandma had a heart attack though and it may effect her chemotherapy which is shit.

Mid-week weekend

It is Tuesday at 20 to 6 but it's really my friday night cause tomorrow is my first sleep in morning in 10days as I only have work at 4pm tomoz, and no work thurs!! woo.hoo.

I am going to drink some wine have takeaway thai for din then go to a bar as Peta is leaving for Eng. tomorrow. It has been nice having her around as it makes you want to go out more and do things when there's someone staying from overseas to show them a good time. I had fun last week on thurs going to the gig at Pony then Laundry just for something different- even though I had work early it was worth it.
Having Sophie here is nice also, and will be nice to catch up with both Peta and Sophie when I am in the U.K.

Liv's dinner murder mystery was really fun in 1920's theme , Papa the workaholic and Ursala the weirdo, "I may tell the police or I may keep it for a rainy day' 'I keep myself to myself' it was really funny.

Just got a fine for overdue library books $58......... woops

Lazy Day

As predicted I did not take Mello for a walk and make the most of the lovely sunny day but OH.WELL.
I'm having Miso Soup and Ginger Stir Fry from the Thai&Japanese takeaway tonight and it will be goOoOOOOOoOOOood.

Money is the worst! As soon as I get paid it goes straight to board payment. Obviously nothing compared to the chashola troubles of others but when trying to save for my happyfuntimes trip at the end of the year it just sux d00d, you feel me yo?

It's my day off today and it's really nice outside, I should take Mello for a walk but am instead most likely going to waste the day. I always plan to get so much done and be productive on days off but I always end sitting on my bed then sitting on a chair then a couch then a bench then boiling water for tea but it goes cold then boiling again then then boiling again then sipping then leaving my tea and the day is GONE!
